I saw Mr Bell for an ACL reconstruction following a skiing accident. He came highly recommended and I am so glad I decided to see him, despite having to travel some distance. He was very professional and compassionate, and took time to explain everything so that I felt well informed to make the right decision for my circumstances. I had surgery to repair the knee, and the scars which quickly healed, were very small which was a bonus and much better than I expected. I was advised that it would be long recovery and require my effort and lots of physio, but several months post surgery and all is going well and I am very pleased. I cannot recommend Mr Bell highly enough.

I saw Jonathan Bell for his expert opinion on the best treatment for two painful tears in my knee. I had previously had surgery on this knee over 30 years ago after a skiing mishap. Mr Bell explained why the knee had worsened, and recommended surgery as the best option for me to get back to my active lifestyle. The surgery was done on an outpatient basis, and I was able to comfortably walk out of the hospital that evening. I am now 6 weeks post operative, and the scars are healed and very small. I am seeing an excellent physiotherapist, which Mr. Bell referred me to in my local area, and am back at the gym and taking gently long-ish walks. Any questions I have had have been quickly answered by email, or telephone. In my post-op meeting, Mr Bell explained which part of my knee will take the most time to heal and how best to aid my own recovery. So far, all his predictions have been spot-on, and my expectations are for an excellent recovery. Thank you!

I am a mid forty active woman. I was really nervous about stopping sports at all because of my knee injury... Meeting Dr Bell was a real relief... I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Bell to anyone needing help after a knee injury. Three years later I think I was really lucky to meet Dr Bell. He was truly professional, offered a great supervision on physios I did before and after my knee reconstruction operation, always caring and giving efficient advises and explanations. One year after I gradually go back to sport and live as normal as before !... Thank you Dr Bell You did such a great job ! Christel
